Caroline Dubois reacts to Terri Harper shove: 'I was going to stop her in seven rounds, now I'll knock her out in four'

Caroline Dubois has promised to punish Terri Harper for pushing her at their first fight-week face off.

On Sunday Dubois and Harper will clash in a WBC and WBO lightweight world title unification, live on Your Site.

Dubois and Harper have exchanged verbal jibes throughout the build-up to the fight and on Wednesday, after facing off for cameras at Kensington's Olympia, Harper shoved her rival during a photo shoot, apparently reacting to Dubois stepping in front of her.

Harper then walked away saying: "Fool. You're a fool. What a clown… Boring."

Dubois had previously predicted she'd win their fight by a knockout in the seventh round. Now she's vowed to do it in four.

"When I started camp I thought I'd stop her in six, seven," Dubois told Your Site. "But now I believe it'll be four."

Reflecting on Harper's shove, she added: "I was surprised, I didn't know she was on that. But it's all good. If we want to get ugly, we can get ugly. I understand that we have a fight on Sunday and we're not supposed to hurt each other now.

"So we can keep it clean, we can keep it respectful, we can keep our hands to ourselves.

"If she wants to get ugly, I can get ugly."

The WBC titlist took it as a sign that Harper is rattled. "I think she's an idiot, I really do," Dubois said.

"The game plan is the game plan. What's going to happen in the ring, is going to happen in the ring. None of this is going to affect that.

"I've always believed in myself but it's about knowing, not just believing but knowing and I know."

Dubois declared: "I don't think the aim should ever be to try and intimidate someone. I think it would be very unsuccessful.

"It's not going to happen. What you have to do is just let them know where you're at and what kind of time you're on. It's on fight time. This is fight week we're a couple of days out from the fight now and I'm on fight time, I'm letting her know what energy I'm on."
